​Q: Do photos cost extra?

A: Black and white prints and photos/ video clips sent to you by email are included in the scan price. There are no extra costs to you at the clinic.

Q: How do I pay for the scan?

A: Payment is made in full when booking the scan on our website.

Q: Do you offer refunds?

A: You will receive a full refund when cancelling your scan with 24 hours notice.

Q: Can I bring children with me to the scan?

A: Yes, children are welcome to attend the scan appointment.

Q: How many guests can I bring to the scan?

A: The scan room will comfortably seat yourself and 3 guests, children that can sit on an adult’s knee can be in addition to this.

Q: Can I film or take photos during the scan?

A: No, sorry, photography and filming are not permitted of the scan taking place.

Q: Will I be offered an internal scan?

A: Everybody attending for an early pregnancy scan (less than 12 weeks) will be offered an internal (transvaginal) scan. It is up to you whether you want to have this or not.

Q: Do I need a full bladder?

A: Please attend with a full bladder for Early Pregnancy and Wellbeing Scans. It may be helpful to see your baby more clearly with a full bladder for Growth and 4D scans, but you may also be asked to empty it to help your baby change position! Equally you may also be asked to drink some water and walk around to help us see your baby more clearly.

Q: Do you scan twins?

A: Yes, please let us know if you are aware you are having twins so we can offer a longer appointment time.

Q: Where can I park?

A: There are multiple pay and display car parks and streets close to our clinic.
