Service Description

This scan is suitable from 12-24 weeks of pregnancy. ● Growth assessment: Measures your baby to ensure they are growing as expected. ● Heartbeat & Movement: View your baby’s heartbeat and observe their movements. ● Images and Report: You will receive black and white scan prints and a scan report. This scan will take measurements of your baby to ensure they are growing as expected. You will be able to see your baby’s heartbeat as well as them moving around. Please attend for this scan with a full bladder if possible. Please note the toilet is upstairs in the building. Following the scan, you will receive black and white scan prints and a scan report. If there are any concerns with the scan findings, with your consent, we will refer you to the Early Pregnancy Unit or Maternity Unit within the NHS Trust you have booked your pregnancy.
